Arslan, Sofi and Babur commemorated

	SÊRT - A commemoration was organised in Sêrt for PKK members Nûreddin Sofî, Metin Arslan and HPG fighter Abdulbaki Babur.  

	 

	A commemoration programme for Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) Central Committee member Metin Arslan (Koçero Urfa), one of the pioneers of the "Rojava Revolution" Nûreddin Sofî and People Defense Forces (HPG) fighter Abdulbaki Babur (Bahtiyar Gabar) who lost their lives was held at the Sêrt (Siirt) provincial organisation of Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party. Many representatives of political parties, civil society organisations, institutions and citizens attended the commemoration. 

	 

	Speaking at the commemoration, MEBYA-DER Sêrt Representative Agit Kaçar said that they will remain committed to the memory of those who lost their lives. Afterwards, a cinevision show about the lives of Arslan, Sofi and Babur was screened. 

	 

	The commemoration ended with the slogans "Şehîd namirin (Martyrs will not die)".
