NEWS CENTER - The people of Fırat Canton took to the streets in Kobanê against the massacre carried out by Turkey and SNA in Tishreen Dam yesterday evening.

Thousands of people from Fırat Canton protested against the massacre of civilians carried out by Turkey and the Syrian National Army (SNA) in Tishreen Dam. The march started from Jina Azad Square in Kobanê city center and people reacted to the massacres with slogans. When the mass reached Şehit Egîd Square, the march turned into a rally.

According to the news in Hawar News Agency (ANHA), Mizgîn Xelîl, Deputy Co-Chair of the Executive Council of the Euphrates Canton, condemned the attack on the convoy heading to the Tishreen Dam yesterday and said, “The Turkish state continues its brutal attacks. War crimes and genocide are being committed. Today, ambulances, civilians and journalists are being targeted in front of the eyes of the whole world. But despite everything, with great persistence and morale, the people are achieving their goal and frustrating the attacks of the Turkish occupation.”

Mizgîn Xelîl called on the people to rally around their fighters and said, “Our people must protect their forces and stand firm against the invasion attacks. Let us all together protect our power and our country from occupation.”

After the speech, the rally ended with the slogans “Berxwedan jiyan e (Resistance is life)”.
