NEWS CENTER – The PKK’s decision to end its operations has made a significant impact in international media.

The PKK announced that it had ended its activities under the PKK name during its 12th Congress, held in response to Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s “Call for Peace and Democratic Society” made on February 27, from İmralı F-Type High Security Closed Prison.

The PKK’s decision echoed widely in global media. Outlets such as Reuters, The New York Times, ABC News, Le Monde, The Washington Post, and Al Jazeera reported the development as breaking news.
