AMED – The Conference of Kurdish Women Parliamentarians, organized under the leadership of TJA, continues on its second day with workshops.
The first Conference of Kurdish Women Parliamentarians, held at the Çand Amed Congress Center under the leadership of the Free Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinen Azad - TJA), is continuing into its second day.
The conference is attended by members of TJA as well as Kurdish women parliamentarians and political party representatives from Kurdistan, the Middle East, and Europe. Additionally, many women are attending the conference in traditional national attire.
The second day of the conference will continue with workshops.
The workshops scheduled for the day are as follows:
"Sakine Cansız and Zoom Workshop: Organizational challenges and proposed solutions for women parliamentarians in developing democratic politics against male-dominated politics.
Leyla Qasim: The role of women parliamentarians in national unity and policies for resolution.
Hevrîn Xelef: Joint struggle against violence and discrimination targeting women in defense of women’s rights.
Mîna Qazî: The contributions of women’s political representation within multicultural contexts to social peace and the democratization of politics."
In the afternoon, the final declaration is expected to be announced, incorporating the proposals that emerged from the workshops.
