Forest destruction in Elkê: Barren land left behind

ŞIRNEX - The tree cutting that started in Komate are of Elke district of Şirnex (Şırnak) and extended to Kespiyanîş village was stopped when there were no trees left to cut. Barren land was left behind. 

The slaughter, which was carried out by rangers under the supervision of the military, stopped when there were no trees left to cut. Hundreds of acres of barren land remained. 
 
Tree felling has been going on in Şirnex and its districts for a long time.
