The ongoing rotating hunger strike in prisons has entered its 15th day. The demands of the prisoners are to ensure the conditions of freedom for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and to take steps to solve the Kurdish issue.
Demanding the release of journalist Süleyman Ahmet, who was detained by the KDP security forces and has not been heard from for 48 days, DFG CoChair Serdar Altan said: "International press professional organizations should show sensitivity on this issue."
There has been no news from journalist Süleyman Ahmet, who was detained by the KDP security forces, for 47 days despite the applications of the lawyers.
