Participants in the vigil launched at the Kobanê-Pirsûs border stated that they embraced the message of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and said, "We trust neither Erdoğan nor Bahçeli nor anyone else. We only trust the Leader."

Stating that Arab Alawites in Syria are "worried", DEM Party Istanbul MP Celal Fırat said that the gains in North and East Syria are a good reference.
