The May 1 rally organised in Konak Gündoğdu Square was filled with workers, women and youth demanding justice, law, democracy and freedom, condemning exploitation and war.
Workers, laborers, women and youth, who flocked to the May Day celebration area for a world without war and exploitation with the spirit of unity, solidarity and struggle, reached Maltepe Square with their demands. Slogans of resistance and struggle are rising in front of the stage.
With the participation of thousands, a march has begun to Maltepe Square, where May 1 will be celebrated.

Scores of workers and youth organisations set out for Taksim despite all obstacles. Groups marching to Taksim from different ways, faced police attack. Police took scores under custody.
