Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Sezai Temelli resembled what is happening in Turkey to Picasso's Guernica and added, "If people are setting themselves on fire saying that my children are hungry, this is a shame for that country. That's exactly what we are supposed to do, to reverse this suffering and this course of events upside down" he said.
In his assessment of the "Middle East Peace Plan” Prof. Dr. İlhan Uzgel stated: “Even though a two-state solution have been voiced under this plan, but this does not include a state project in the sense that we understand. A governance under Israeli pressure that could not be even considered as autonomy.”
HDP, which determines the fate of the İBB (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality) elections, has completed its congresses in many districts of Istanbul. As HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan shared her condolences for the deceased citizens due to the Elazığ earthquake, she states that AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan shows off on the wreck site: “Everybody saw that they reduced themselves as to gather politics out of wrecks. HDP Honorary President Ertuğrul Kürkçü, who states that the existing constitution is a contra constitution, said: “The HDP should seek the way to carry the discussion of the new constitution to the masses of people who are the actual forces of the Democratic Republic struggle."
HDP Co-chair Sezai Temelli said: " The people of Turkiye started to talk about peace and democracy with a greatest sincerity after the absolute isolation ended. That's why we say, speak to Öcalan. Don't silence him."
